‘ท่านอ้วน จุฑาวัชร’ ประกาศผ่าน LinkedIn สมัครชิงตำแหน่ง CEO การบินไทยคนใหม่ เผยเส้นทางอาชีพกว่า 25 ปีในอุตสาหกรรมการบินระดับโลก ตั้งแต่ช่างอากาศยานจนถึงผู้บริหาร พร้อมระบุอยากนำมุมมองและประสบการณ์ที่แตกต่างกลับมาสร้างประโยชน์ให้ประเทศบ้านเกิด

ผู้สื่อข่าวรายงานว่า ท่านอ้วน-จุฑาวัชร วิวัชรวงศ์ โพสต์ผ่าน LinkedIn ประกาศลงสมัครเป็นประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร (CEO) คนใหม่ ของบริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) พร้อมทั้งกล่าวถึงประสบการณ์ทำงานในอุตสาหกรรมการบินมานานกว่า 25 ปี และตั้งใจนำความรู้ ประสบการณ์จริง และมุมมองที่แตกต่าง กลับมาสร้างประโยชน์ให้กับประเทศไทยซึ่งเป็นประเทศบ้านเกิด

ทั้งนี้ ท่านอ้วน โพสต์ข้อความบน LinkedIn เป็นภาษาอังกฤษ ดังนี้ “Sometimes you have to be willing to put your name into a conversation—even when you know the opportunity is a long shot.

After more than 25 years building my career in aviation internationally, I recently decided to put my name forward for a significant and prestigious leadership opportunity with Thai Airways International

I’m under no illusion about the magnitude of the opportunity, the caliber of people who will undoubtedly be considered, or how unconventional my candidacy may be.
But it did make me stop and look back at the road that brought me here.

I started as an aircraft technician and went on to lead maintenance control organizations, Part 135 maintenance operations, MRO and AOG programs, and aviation teams and facilities. Today, as Director of Strategic Partnerships at CAMP Systems International, I work across the global aviation ecosystem with aircraft and engine manufacturers, operators, technology organizations, and executive teams on strategic partnerships, commercial agreements, aircraft data, reliability, digital integration, and the future of aircraft lifecycle support.

Along the way, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Aviation Technology, a Master of Aeronautical Science in Aerospace Management, a Juris Doctor, and most recently completed executive leadership development at Harvard Business School.

Is my career the conventional path to an opportunity of this magnitude? No.
But perhaps there is some value in an unconventional perspective.

And maybe that’s really the point of putting yourself forward. Maybe someone sees an aviation perspective they hadn’t considered. Maybe it starts a conversation. Maybe it opens a completely different door.

I don’t know where it will lead, and I’m perfectly comfortable with that.

Thailand is where I was born. Aviation is where I’ve spent my entire professional life. At this point in my career, I find myself increasingly interested in where those two parts of my life might intersect.

Sometimes you have to put your name forward before you know where the conversation might go.

การบินไทย เปิดรับสมัคร CEO คนใหม่

“ประชาชาติธุรกิจ” รายงานก่อนหน้านี้ อ้างอิงรายงานข่าวจากบริษัท การบินไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) เปิดเผยว่า บริษัทได้เผยแพร่ประกาศเปิดรับสมัครตำแหน่งประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร (CEO) คนใหม่ แทนนายชาย เอี่ยมศิริ ที่จะหมดวาระในสิ้นเดือนมกราคม 2570 โดยเปิดรับสมัครระหว่างวันที่ 7-27 กันยายน 2569 ผู้สมัครต้องมีสัญชาติไทย อายุไม่เกิน 65 ปี สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับปริญญาโทขึ้นไป มีประสบการณ์บริหารระดับสูงในองค์กรขนาดใหญ่และซับซ้อน โดยเฉพาะระดับ N-1 หรือ CEO/MD และมีความเข้าใจบริบทธุรกิจสายการบินหรืออุตสาหกรรมการบิน พร้อมทั้งเปิดกว้างให้กับทั้งคนในองค์กรและคนจากภายนอก

โดยผู้สมัครที่เป็น หรือเคยเป็นพนักงานของบริษัท ดำรงหรือเคยดำรงตำแหน่งระดับ 13 และต้องดำรงตำแหน่งดังกล่าวไม่น้อยกว่า 1 ปี สำหรับผู้สมัครจากภายนอกต้องเป็นหรือเคยเป็นผู้บริหารภาคเอกชนหรือรัฐวิสาหกิจ ซึ่งองค์กรเคยมีรายได้ไม่น้อยกว่า 40,000 ล้านบาทต่อปี หรือมีสินทรัพย์รวมไม่น้อยกว่า 2 แสนล้านบาท โดยดำรงตำแหน่งไม่ต่ำกว่าผู้บริหารอันดับ 2 ขององค์กร (N-1)

รายงานข่าวกล่าวด้วยว่า ในช่วงเริ่มต้นของการเปิดรับสมัครนี้ ยังมีเพียงแค่กระแสของคนในองค์กรที่เปิดตัวสนใจสมัครชิงตำแหน่งซีอีโอ อาทิ นายเชิดพันธ์ โชติคุณ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่สายช่าง, นางจันทริกา โชติกเสถียร ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่สายทรัพยากรบุคคล, นางวรางคณา ลือโรจน์วงศ์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่หน่วยธุรกิจการบิน, นายทวิโรจน์ ทรงกำพล ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่สายกลยุทธ์องค์กร แต่บุคคลดังกล่าวนี้ยังไม่ได้ส่งใบสมัครอย่างเป็นทางการแต่อย่างใด สำหรับกระแสของคนนอกองค์กรขณะนี้ยังค่อนข้างเงียบ

อย่างไรก็ตามหลายฝ่ายคาดการณ์กันว่าบุคคลที่จะมาบริหารงานในตำแหน่งประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารของการบินไทยคนใหม่จะถูกส่งมาจากกระทรวงการคลังแน่นอน และยังเชื่อด้วยว่าจะเป็นคนจากสายสีน้ำเงินอีกด้วย
